It also showed that majority of the practicing fish farmers have sound educational background as most of them have attended tertiary institutions and practice fish farming at large scale using the intensive system, personal funds, concrete ponds, personal lands, Polyculture and monoculture. Most of the fish farmers were within the age of 21-40 years and procure their seeds (fingerlings) from other established private farms.
