Abstract: This chapter explained the approaches and skills involved in the utilization of cooperative instructional method in the preparation of technology education students for industries. It enhances understanding of how cooperative learning can be utilized in the preparation of technology education students for industries. It explained major concepts involved in cooperative instructional method. The chapter justified the need for utilizing cooperative instructional method in technology education. The elements of cooperative instructional method as well as basic types of cooperative instruction were explained. It unveiled the theories guiding cooperative instructional method. The chapter also discussed five strategies for forming study groups or teams for effective instruction. The chapter also gave evaluation/ self assessment exercises to ascertain learners understanding of the approaches and skills involved in the utilization of cooperative instructional method in the preparation of technology education students for industries.
