Abstract: In this work, a mathematical model of Typhoid Fever was developed incorporating the effect of carriers on the spread. The population was divided into four compartments namely Susceptible, Infected, Carrier, and Recovered compartments. The stability analysis of the disease-free equilibrium and the Endemic Equilibrium states were carried out. The stability of the Endemic Equilibrium state implies that for as long as carriers exist in a population, Typhoid fever cannot be completely eradicated.
