Noise and gaseous pollutions pose serious threat to the quality of life enjoyed by the general populace. It is with these facts in mind that this study was undertaken in order that a trend of environmental pollution indices of two major towns of Niger State would be defined. GPS-referenced dataset for noise levels and gas concentrations were collected from Minna and Suleja. The results of the survey show that in the majority of cases high incidences of noise pollution and high concentrations of the CO and the SO2 gases can be identified. The other gases occur in varying amountsen_US
