Managing multiple stakeholders and maintaining an acceptable balance between their interest are crucial to successful project delivery. Several factors impede the management of stakeholders for sustainable construction projects. Previous studies focused on general factors that affect construction projects but a gap exist in the aspect of key factors such as conflict, cost, marginalization, management factors and how these factors impact on stakeholder management process which have not been researched in detailed. Hence, this study determined key factors that affects stakeholder management which was sub grouped to 12 main factors. The study employed the use of self administered questionnaire on stakeholders within the construction projects. A total of 170 questionnaires were returned giving a 73.5% response rate. Responses obtained from the respondents were collated and then analysed using mean, correlation and regression analysis. The study found that management, conflict and marginalization factors are significant factors to be considered and improved upon in future construction projects.
