This project deals with the various problems, likely causes and possible solutions to a malfunctioning System. Moreover, various methods of troubleshooting were equally discussed. Also, emphasis was laid on software and hardware components as well as various methods adopted for the maintenance of a computer system: To achieve the above tasks, certain research methodology was applied - observation method, interview and investigation of existing systems. In the observation method, I closely watched some system engineers at work in an organisation with a case study of BE - J Systems Nigeria Limited, Abuja. Moreso, some Workers and Engineers were interviewed to get some facts.

Abstract

The process of disbursing loans and advances to customers without adequate and reliable data has resulted not only in less effective monitoring but also increase in bad debts for the banks. The present study however tries to design a computerized loaning system for banks for an effective disbursement of various loans. A dbase Iv pro'grmming language will be used due to its vast facilities and features.
