AUTOMATED DATABASE MANAGEMENT AND . INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR PUBLIC ASSETS

Abstract

Automated database management and information system for public assets is a system that facilitate an effective, efficient and reliable means for managing data and information of Niger State Government quarters through the use of micro-computers using Dbase IV. It is an integrated and structured collection of data and information that allows ease of access, processing and storage of data regarding Niger State Government quarters, such as; House description, House inventory, House maintenance and personal data of the occupants. The project visualised the history, relevance and development of computer and database management and information system with greater emphasis on property database management.
