Abstract: | Recent advances in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) have dramatically changed the way architecture is being taught and practiced. Computers are being increasingly used in design studio, in a phenomenon that is beyond the control of design instructors. A variety of technologies are now being used by practitioners and researchers aiming to improve aspects of architectural design, construction and maintenance. The paper examines the noble ideas about Information and Communications Technology and its applications in architectural education and practice. It discusses the impacts of digital media and ICT on architectural education and practice |
