Abstract: Recent advances in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) have dramatically changed the way architecture is being taught and practiced. Computers are being increasingly used in design studio, in a phenomenon that is beyond the control of design instructors. A variety of technologies are now being used by practitioners and researchers aiming to improve aspects of architectural design, construction and maintenance.
