Abstract: | This study assess the usability factors influencing students’ utilization of mobile devices for learning in FCT-Abuja. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. The study was guided by four research questions. The population of this study comprised of all students of the two Colleges of Education in FCT-Abuja. Stratified sampling was used to select School of Sciences, and School of Arts and Social Sciences students. A researcher-designed structured questionnaire was used for data collection and was validated by three experts. The questionnaire was pilot tested and the data obtained were subjected to statistical analysis using Cronbach Alpha Correlation Formula and reliability coefficients from the variable’s effectiveness, efficiency, level of engagement, and error tolerance 0.82, 0.78, 0.75, and 0.79 was obtained respectively. Descriptive statistics was use to provide answers to the research questions using Mean and Standard Deviation. Findings of the study revealed students perceived the use of mobile devices for learning to be effective, efficient, engaging, and error tolerance with grand means of 4.14, 3.89, 3.97, and 4.00 respectively. Based on the findings of this study, the following recommendations were made amongst others: learning through mobile devices should be integrated in Colleges of Education students curricular activities; students should be enlightened on the appropriate use of mobile devices for learning.
