As far back as 1824, a country like America saw the need for polls forecasting and began to use it. From unscientific method of straw votes, countries have advanced to scientific method of Opinion Polls popularly known today as Gallup Poll. With Gallup Poll, virtually every political, social, and economic issue of the day can be measured and the attitudes of the public concerning an issue can also be tracked. Such development also needs to exist in Nigeria.en_US
