Abstract: This study was carried out to provide strategies for improving Applied Electricity Skills for Senior Secondary School Students in Bida and Suleja Local Government Areas of Nigeria State. To obtain information for this study, Teachers and Students were sampled using stratified random technique sampling. The teachers and students were selected in the following manners. Eight teachers and 60 students were used, two teachers and 15 students from each school under study. Statements of the problems, purpose and significance of the study were identified. 4 schools were selected comprising 2 schools from each local government area under study. The findings revealed among others that manipulative skill teaching should be employed or encouraged to improve the level of comprehension of the students, provision of steady electricity supply as some of these schools are in the remote or rural areas.
