Abstract: | The study investigated technical teachers' perception and readiness for e-leaning instructional delivery in technical schools in Niger state. The study employed a survey research design. The sample for the study comprised one hundred technical teachers. An instrument tagged e-learning technical teachers' perception and readiness questionnaire (ELETPRQ) was used for the study. The internal consistency of the instrument was established using Cronbach Alpha which yielded a reliability of 0.82. Four hypotheses were postulated for the study. The t- test and ANOVA was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. Result showed that there was a significant difference in male and female technical teachers' perception of e- learning and also of their readiness for e-learning instructions. Recommendations were made that e- learning instructions should be incorporated into technical teaching in technical schools to enhance students' understanding of technical concepts among others. |
