dc.description.abstractEvery Industrial organization strives for maximum productivity with the desire to maximize profit and that cannot be achieved in the environment that is full of chaos and conflicts. Conflict is a form of interaction among parties that differs in interest, perception and preferences. In resolving Industrial conflict, motivation becomes the necessary tool, as motivation is inner force that drives individuals to accomplish personal and organizational goals. Some of the motivating factors includes: interesting work, good wages, full appreciation of work done, job security. Strategies of motivating staff among others include: understanding members of your work team as individuals, use money as a reward and an incentive. The following recommendations were made among others for proper staff motivation in an industry; employees entitlement should be paid properly, that is monthly salaries and other allowances should be paid as at when due, industrial manager should positively reinforce behaviours that lead to positive outcomes and the stake holders should ensure that the working environment is physically and psychologically safe for work.en_US
