The book Perspective of Urban Transportation Policy and Planning is a synthesized collection of the Late Professor Albert Adeyomoye Ogunsanyas thoughts, scholastic work and contributions to the studies of transport. It is an attempt at preserving the valuable contributions of the Late Professor who had greatly distinguished himself as a transport scholar of international standard. The book is not a catalogue of all his academic publications, but rather a concise collection of some of his outstanding work particularly in the field of urban transportation. The book is organized into Fourteen Chapters covering different aspects of urban transportation policy and planning. Most of the issues addressed in the book are theoretically important and practically relevant to the current and emerging urban transportation problems in developing countries in general and Nigeria in particular. The last Chapter of the book focused on seaport development in Nigeria an area which Late Professor also made some significant contributions.en_US
