Abstract: An experiment was conducted to evaluate the performance of broiler chickens fed wing reproductive termite (Macrot nigeriensis) meal using 150 day old broiler chicks purchased at step by step chicks Dutsen Kura Minna. Flying termite meal was to replace fish meal at 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100% levels. The five treatments were designated as Th Ti. T3. T4, and T5 respectively. Parameters measured include average body weight, average body weight gain, average feed intake and feed conversion ratio as well as nutrient digestibility. The results indicated that there were no significant differences (P>0.05) in the average body weight, average body weight gain, average feed intake and feed conversion ratio. The result of nutrient digestibility showed that all the parameters evaluated were significantly affected (P<0.05) the results suggest that wing reproductive termite meal could be used to replace fish meal up to 100% level in broiler starter diet without any deleterious effect on performance.
