Abstract: Objective: To study the inhibitory effect of various extracts from Crateva adansonii (C.adansonii) used traditionally against several inflammatory diseases such as rheumatism, arthritis, and gout, was investigated on purified bovine milk xanthine oxidase (XO) activity.
