Abstract: A methodology Workshop paper on "Insurgency and counter-insurgency in Nigeria: critical perspectives on Boko Haram" held by the National Defence Academy, Kaduna, Nigeria. The paper outlined the research design that will be used in a proposed study on Boko Haram crisis framing by Nigerian newspapers and how newspapers can help in resolving the crisis.
